We wish you all a very happy Christmas and a very prosperous 2025!
/This has been a very busy year marked, most notably, by the completion and eventual publication of the report of the Older People’s Housing Taskforce. The delay caused by the election was frustrating but the fact that a report commissioned by the Tories has now been endorsed by Labour must strengthen the case for action. Early next year we will be considering how the 40 recommendations can be implemented.
Design work continues meanwhile with a particularly exciting new commissions for the North London church shown in our picture, a substantial housing scheme in the historic grounds of a Midlands country house, a care home in Oxfordshire and restoration of a listed house in St John’s Wood. Recent planning consents have included a care home on a very sensitive site in Wallington, a supermarket in North London and a small but particularly tricky site in Enfield.
My work as an expert witness has also been very busy with a fascinating range of cases involving major fires, important listed buildings, and a number of single houses.
I’m trying to slow down but I just can’t find the time.
We wish you all a very happy Christmas and a very prosperous 2025!
