We have recently submitted a planning application for Fonthill, a Locally listed site in Reigate.
There is already an existing consent for 2 existing buildings to be converted and restored into 10 units.
The existing site and building has been unused for 20 years. Fonthill itself is a two-and-a-half storey Victorian house constructed in 1880 of Reigate stone and is locally listed. There have been several unsympathetic extensions in the last 30 years in association with the site’s former use as a nursing home.
The proposals provide an opportunity to bring the site back into use and to restore the locally listed buildings.
The proposals are for retirement housing, 36 Apartments, comprising 14 New Build, 10 Refurb. and 12 Affordable Units.
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Client: Beechcroft
Size: 36 retirement units
