This scheme for Beechcroft Developments, designed at planning stage by BHP Harwood, includes not only new build apartments but also the restoration and conversion of a group of historic buildings.
The White Lion, the most prominent part of the group, was frequented by Nelson on his trips to Portsmouth and looks at first glance like a classic Georgian coaching inn. Concealed within, however, is a timber frame house dating back to Tudor times and presenting some special conservation challenges.
We are currently appointed to produce working drawings for all elements of this scheme.
