This village housing scheme, designed in and around the world's first horse hospital built for animals wounded in the Crimea, promotes independent living for over 55s with support, care, security and well-being.
After other architects had failed to achieve consent on this particularly sensitive site, RMA was brought in as a specialist care home architect. We successfully redesigned the scheme to create a new build care home with sheltered flats in the converted listed buildings.
