One of the last schemes completed for English Courtyard, this development involved the conversion of Stuart House, the old rectory, with the construction of new houses and flats in the extensive gardens. Built in local Cotswold stone and traditional roughcast render the new housing is laid out to create a series of courtyard gardens providing beautiful outlooks for elderly residents who spend much of their time at home. The scheme was winner of the ‘Best Retirement’ category at the Mail on Sunday British Home Awards.
